AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST

The Sons of the Republic of Texas sponsor two awards and a scholarship contest intended to promote the study and preservation of Texas history. New Texas Eagle Scouts can receive a certificate for their accomplishment.

• Summerfield G. Roberts Award - $2,500
• Presidio La Bahia Award - $2,000
• Texas History High School Essay Contest - $6,000
• Eagle Scout Certificate
